There comes that time in everyone's life that they have to make a choice that tears your heart up. I am sure that this is one of those times for you. I am happy for you and for your family that you are making this choice, it is the right one at the right time.
You my friend have given more than most and I want to thank you for all that you have done for our men and women who have put themselves in the forefront to defend this country. You stood along side of all of them in a way that unfortuneately most people in this country can never appreciate. I do as many others do and they are the ones that really count.
I am happy for the "T-Man" and Caren. They must be over the moon with the news. Best of everything for you and enjoy getting to know you family.

Safe trip home Boss - you deserve it.
Some people did a year in the sandbox, some did a couple, but you've done several. More than your share.
There's a lot that wouldn't have been accomplished there without you and the hours and 'ownership' you invested.
There's a lot of tired troops that'll take a hot shower, eat a cooked meal, watch a DVD or use a gym at the end of a hard days patrol without realising the sometimes Herculean effort that made it all possible.
When you're home you can pride yourself on knowing your contribution will carry on long after the dust has gone from your kit.
I enjoyed being a part of your team. It was a joy and I don't regret a minute of it. If ever you go out again, drop me a line - I could be severely tempted!
